listerine & leather…
so i was brushing my teeth today and i noticed that the Listerine bottle had “NEW” on the label. i have been using this stuff for years and the product has been around for a good minute so it’s not really “new” and the packaging didn’t change so i figured the only thing that could be “new” is the formula.
usually, when companies change their product, it really pisses me off because the reason i’ve continued to buy your product is because i like the way it currently is! don’t change it on me! well, since i didn’t notice the “NEW” on the label when I bought the bottle, it’s the real big bottle too, I figured I might as well check it out. (plus, I already took the plastic off the bottle top so there was no way I could take it back to the store.)
too my surprise, the change to the formula is actually for the better! I use the citrus (orange) flavor and it definitely has more bite and kick, which I didn’t think was possible since they had already done a pretty damn good job at bringing me close to tears because it burned so much! the new stuff is stronger! the jury is still out on the tweak to flavor but I’ll get back to you on that. however, if you’re going shopping for mouthwash in the near future, pick up a bottle of the “new” listerine – citrus flavor! i approve.
