Oh man, you don’t know how excited I got when I saw these last week on Nice Kicks! The Nike Air Flight Huarache!

I remember I fell in love with these kicks the first time I saw them back in the day! They came out back in ’92. Personally, I loved them because by looking at them, they don’t make any sense - Is is a basketball shoe? A cross-trainer? Will these things support your ankles? So naturally, since they were an odd-looking sneaker, it was right up my alley!

(If you read YAKWII with any kind of regularity you know that “odd” is the new “black” around these parts. Yes, you’re welcome.)

The Michigan Fab 5 really made these popular when they wore them on the court.
