Jambox is back in the building

Jambox is back in the building!

He sent me over this story on Wednesday, but I haven’t had a chance to post it up until now.  I’ve been doin sh*t (not really).

As usual, no matter how much I have going on in my life (I have nothing going on in my life), Jambox manages to have more fun on a f*ckin Tuesday than I have in an entire month (more like 3 months)!  Thank God fairness is a man-made concept (that’s how I justify the sh*t that happens to me) because otherwise I’d just be depressed every day (and sob uncontrollably into my pillow every night).

Regardless of how I feel (horny), someone’s gotta have fun in this world and who better the Jambox (me)!  So without further adieu, heeeere’s Jambox!

Jacques Magazine + Michea Crawford

Posted in Fly Sh*t, shortys / models / women, The Jambox Scribe with tags , on March 12, 2010 by youalreadyknowwhoitis

Until about 2 minutes ago, I had never heard of Jacques Magazine.  From my quick research, I read that it’s based out of Brooklyn.  (Hmmm…may have to get Jambox to do some investigating!)  Nor had I heard of the squash playing model featured in the video, Michea Crawford.  Wow….she is hot!  This video is to promote their Sports Issue coming out in May 2010.

People, this is marketing at its finest!  The hot girl + sports = $$$ formula never fails!  To top it off, the heavy breathing, short skirt and obvious lack of a bra on Michea just made it that much better.  Guarantee this will be Jacques Magazine’s best selling issue EVER!

Another Jambox original…

I received this on Monday morning.  What a way to start the day!!! This guy is so energetic and full of life.  And yes the video made me smile and chuckle in loud volumes.  Good thing I was working out of the home office…

Enjoy…

YAKWII here… What makes getting this email from Jambox today so weird is that I came across another version of the same video on another website while at work today.  Totally random.  Check it out after the jump.

It’s so good to have another set of eyes and ears looking out for all the good sh*t in the world.  Jambox hit me up today and let me know that American Apparel is hosting The Search for the Best Bottom in the World Contest.  To quote Jambox directly:

“I think this is the best thing I have seen all week.  I think YAKWII should have the same contest soon.  These people are geniuses!!!”

The Beatles – Get Back

Posted in beats, the 60's, The Jambox Scribe with tags , , , , , on February 1, 2010 by youalreadyknowwhoitis

Since we’re already talking about London, this is the perfect segue to the latest Jambox music special.

In 1969, the Beatles were having a hard time internally, resulting in George Harrison walking out on the band.  After a little time, they let their emotions settle down, went out on their roof and played a gig starting with the song “Get Back”.  Much like the final scene in Across the Universe, the performance brought the city around them, London, to a standstill.  Here is a video with some scenes from that performance. Enjoy…

The Band

Another Jambox music special.

The Band is one of the best things to come out of the sixties. They used to be Bob Dylan’s back up band and did a lot of their own stuff. They were bad ass led by a man by the name of Robbie Robertson. Cool name.  People have probably heard some of their classics such as “Up On Cripple Creek” and “The Weight“.  But here are a couple Jambox selections that you may not have heard on the radio.  Enjoy…

Another classic by The Band after the jump.

The Blues Project – Wake me, Shake me

Another Jambox music special…

I got another not so mainstream selection of music for the YAKWII viewers.  YAKWII and I had some good times in a place we dubbed the Watchtower.  We learned about each other’s taste in music, sex, drugs, food and everything in between. The Blues Project is just a sample from those days similar to the Chambers Brothers. Over the next few weeks I hope to drop some of our more memorable listening experiences on you.  With the help of YAKWII, hopefully, we can provide that Watchtower experience once again…

This is a band from Greenwich Village in New York City.  Have to represent for these versatile white boys who could sing the blues, run some psychedelic rock and were one of the first jam bands.  This is an example of what NYC in the 60’s produced. If you liked Spirit you should enjoy this selection.  For those who don’t know, listen up and learn.  This is grass roots music history people.  Enjoy…

J-E-T-S!

Posted in athlétisme, The Jambox Scribe with tags , , , on January 10, 2010 by youalreadyknowwhoitis

Sup.  Jambox hit me up today insisting that I show his NY Jets some love.  After watching the abortion that was Pats vs. Ravens, I’ll gladly oblige:  Good work Jets!  Good luck next week vs the Chargers.

Here’s a few words from Jambox:

J-E-T-S, Jets! Jets! Jets! Rookie QB. Breaking records and sh*t! We don’t get this kind of treatment from our teams normally. Generally they just lose. Rookie running back looking like an all-star. And that Defense! Gotta give those boys props!
