I was over on Luxist and came across a post about a Swiss design firm named Black-Out Concept. They basically take high-end items like watches, exotic cars, motorcycles & even houses and apply a stealth bomber-style matte black finish to give them a “blacked-out” look. Looks dope. Mr. Kanye West has selected their blacked-out version of the Rolex Submariner as his official watch.
Must be nice to lay claim to your official watch and have people pay attention. I’m gonna try that one day, but it doesn’t even have to be for anything as fancy as a watch. One day I’ll announce my official toilet paper and we’ll see if I get the same attention. Peep after the jump for more Black-Out Concept projects. One.

Yo. It’s crazy how time flies by way faster than you expect. After starting this thing up in mid-January, here we are in late May early June and I’ve managed to climb the mountain up to 100 posts! First of all, I want to congratulate my loyal readers MYSELF! Because without me, there is no YAKWII!!
But seriously, a big shout goes out to those of you who have been sticking with me and this blog since the beginning. Through the ups and downs, the lack of regularly updated posts, the marathon posting days, the ramblings, the really weird sh*t….everything. You are a winner! (just like her below!)

I mean, what’s really good? Kids skipping school, people loosing jobs all over a pair of sneakers? In case you’re not up on the latest with the shoe game, the freshest shoe out right now are the Nike Air Yeezy’s.
These are dope but I just can’t wrap my head around camping out in front of the sneaker store for a week for them to drop. There’s not a guarantee that they’ll have your size. Some store sell them early, some let their people cop a pair before the rest of the public, etc. If I’m out there all week and I don’t get my size 11′s, I’m wildin! And then you can only cop one pair at a time. At least let me scoop 2 pairs, one to rock and the other to keep. Bananas!
